The Baptism was not our main focus, Will was taking photos the entire time, but this was just too sweet not to share! This is also our first time photographing a Baptism. ♥

Ok! This is it! We have decided to take it a step further and invest in a new camera and some lenses. I am so excited, but so nervous. This started as just something I wanted to do to take photos of our beautiful children (no more portrait studios!) and blossomed into other people asking me to take photos for them. I wanted so badly to take great photos for people, so I started buying more backdrops ( aka solid color sheets ha!) and lights. I never imagined or expected to get paid for something I am in love with doing. This is the beginning of a journey!

For the first time, I feel like a photo shoot was a great success! Don't get me wrong, I have taken some beautiful photos of family and friends in the past, but this was so easy. Twenty minutes or less of baby talking and snapping photos and had a memory card full of wonderfullness! I know I can't take all the credit... She was in a good mood (which is a big plus when photographing babies) and her mom and my daughter were both baby talking and shaking toys as well.
